Metro Double Flake

Description

We start with our Medicated Cichlid Flakes with Metronidazole and doubled the medication for those extra tough times where a little extra is necessary. These are the very flakes we use in our fish room when dosing metronidazole.

The use of medicated foods is the only way to effectively treat internal disease. Coupled with elevated heat 86-90F / 30-32C treatment becomes even more effective for treating hemamita.

Metronidazole is an anti-protozoan fish medication used to treat hexamita (hole in the head disease or Malawi bloat), body slime (chilodonella), freshwater ich, epistylis in pond fish.

Treatment:
Feed 1-2 times a day for a week. May be repeated if necessary. We treat our own tanks by raising the temperature to 86F/30C or higher during treatment. May be used concurrently with Epsom Salt to help clear out the gut more efficiently.

NOTE: Small quantities kept in stock. When ordering a large quantity or when we receive multiple orders for this product an extra day may be required to make more medicated flake. If extra time is required you will be notified of this fact.
